CLINICS



LEVEL 1 - 
To prepare a young or new official to officiate minor hockey.  The Level 1 clinic includes a 4 hour Hockey University (HU) online course plus a 8 hour in person clinic with both classroom and on ice sessions.  NOTE:  You must complete the 4 hour online Hockey University (HU) Course before you can sign up for the 8 hour in person clinic. 
* MUST BE MINIMUM OF 12 YEARS OLD TO TAKE AN OFFICIALS CLINIC

LEVEL 2 - To further enhance the training and skills of minor hockey officials.  The Level 2 clinic includes a 4 hour Hockey University (HU) online course plus a 8 hour in person clinic with both classroom and on ice sessions.  NOTE:  You must complete the 4 hour online Hockey University (HU) Course before you can sign up for the 8 hour in person clinic. 

LEVEL 3 - To prepare officials capable of refereeing minor hockey playoffs, minor hockey regional playoffs and female national championships, or being linesmen in Junior B, C, Senior and Bantam or Midget regional championships.  The Level 3 officials clinic is an 8 hour in person classroom session.  There is no Hockey University (HU) online component to the Level 3 officials clinic.

All officials must be certified annually by attending one of the following clinics. To receive one's certification, the official must attend the entire clinic, and pass a Hockey Canada rules test.

Returning officials should bring their rule books and manuals.
